Cookie Usage Policy

Information on the use of cookies
This policy on the use of cookies and other trackers applies to the UBPARIS.COM website.
The site uses cookies for a variety of reasons.
In particular, they allow ubparis.com to understand how users navigate our websites, obtain data in order to improve the browsing experience in future, send you personalised offers (depending on your language), and identify you when you access your client account.
This page explains what a cookie is, what it is used for and how to set it up.
1. WHAT IS A COOKIE?
A cookie (hereinafter the “Cookie(s)”) is a text file deposited by the servers of the visited websites or by third-party servers, in a dedicated space on the hard drive of your terminal (computer, tablet, mobile phone or any other device optimised for the Internet), when you view online content or advertising. It records information about your use of the Internet.
This Cookie file can only be read by its issuer, and allows the issuer, during its period of validity, to recognise the terminal concerned each time the terminal accesses digital content containing Cookies from said issuer. The Cookie does not identify you personally, but only the browser of your terminal.
When you connect to our sites, a banner is displayed. Subject to your choice, cookies will be stored in the memory of your computer, smartphone, tablet, mobile phone, etc. The information collected in this way may be used by the site you are visiting or by a third party, such as an advertising company or any other partner.
Cookies are valid for a maximum of 13 (thirteen) months from the day you give your consent to them.
However, you can delete them from your terminal at any time.
There are several types of cookies and different ways to object to their use (see point 2).
You have the option of refusing the storage of cookies on your device and you can do so at any time via your browser software, according to the procedure described in point 3 of this document.
However, the refusal of certain Cookies may cause the degradation of a certain number of features necessary for browsing the Website (difficulties in saving or display, etc.). In such cases, we shall not be liable for such malfunctioning.
Furthermore, disabling advertising cookies does not mean that you will not receive advertisements, but simply that they will no longer be tailored to your interests.
Please note that the consideration of your individual wishes is based on one or more specific Cookies. If you delete all the Cookies stored on your terminal in relation to our site, we will no longer know what you have consented to or refused. That will reset your consent and you will have to once again refuse the Cookie(s) you do not wish to keep. Similarly, if you use a different web browser, you will have to refuse these Cookies again because your choices, like the Cookies to which they relate, depend on the browser and the terminal (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.) you use to visit our site.
2. PURPOSE OF COOKIES
In order to enable you to assess the usefulness of a particular cookie for you, below is a description of the different types of cookie.
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential in order to browse the site and take advantage of its features, such as access to secure areas of the Website. Requested services, such as competition forms, cannot be provided without cookies.
Performance cookies
These cookies collect information about how visitors use a Website. For example, this may relate to the most visited pages and whether error messages are issued. Cookies do not collect data that can identify visitors. As all information collected by these cookies is aggregated, it remains anonymous. These cookies are only intended to improve the functioning of the website.
Google Analytics: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=fr
Such Cookies allow us to measure the traffic or audience associated with our website, the pages visited and the interactions made on the site during your visit. Disabling them therefore prevents the collection of all information relating to your use of our Website and therefore the proposal of editorial content adapted to your browsing.
Functional cookies
These cookies allow the site to remember the choices you have made (such as your username, language choice or location) and provide more accurate and personal features. These cookies may also be used to remember changes made by the user, such as text size or font. They may also be used to provide services that you have requested, such as watching a video or leaving a comment on a blog. The information collected by these cookies can be made anonymous and cannot track your browsing activity on other sites.
Targeted cookies or advertising cookies
UBparis.com does not use advertising cookies. These cookies collect information about your web browsing habits in order to provide you with advertisements that are tailored to you and your interests. They also limit the number of times you see an advertisement and help evaluate the effectiveness of an advertising campaign. Targeted cookies are used when you contact us from the e Chat Messenger software. However, in this case, as in all cases of sending third-party Cookies, the service providers we use do not have access to this data.
No personal data is collected and an individual cannot be identified through the data collected.
